Broken Light

I just realized what color is all about
Forest green robs and tortures my soul
Girly pink fills me with endless doubt
Deep hazel eyes make slow rivers flow
Sky blue is deeper than the deepest sea
Crimson red is always serious to the end
Grey green absorbs all the energy out of me
Chocolate brown is full of acting and pretend
Thick orange is never afraid of fear
Soft purple confused by violet and blue
Sour yellow rings in your ear
Sparkling silver just gray in another hue
Blinding white slowly floats away
Crispy gold like is champagne being iced
Shadow black ruthlessly ends the day
Color is all about what I just realized

A Frantic Relief

In and out
All about
Inside out
With no doubt
Up a river like a trout
Taking all the hardest route
You just want to scream and shout

What I lose is what I gain
What I choose floods with rain
Will you stop the endless rain?
Will you ever patch the pain?

This is truly what you see
What else can it ever be?
You should just find that out
Maybe you can erase all doubt

Prophet of Destiny

When dreams are forsaken
the future is in your hands
There will be no mistakes taken
so catch it before it lands
But then there's more than you think
deep in your heart you realize it
Find the way before it vanishes in a blink
hope made you a lost prophet
