About the Health Center
The Health Center is the Brandeis medical care facility and is managed by CareGroup. CareGroup is an integrated, health care delivery system of teaching and community hospitals, college health centers, and physician groups. It is committed to patient-centered care and to working with colleagues and other health care providers to create a regional network. The CareGroup affiliated hospitals include Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Mount Auburn Hospital and New England Baptist. Brandeis University and the Health Center have a long standing relationship with the Waltham Hospital located one half mile form the Brandeis campus. Our relationship with these institutions assures quality care for Brandeis students.

Summer hours Monday – Friday: 10am to 4pm*

* When the Health Center is closed, there is an on call system in place. To reach the nurse on call, dial the main number, 736-3677. You will be given information on how to reach the answering service. The service will page the nurse on call and give her your message and phone number. The nurse will return your call as quickly as possible. If the nurse requires assistance, there is a physician available for consultation.

Staff
The staff at the Health Center includes registered nurses, a drug and alcohol counselor/educator, Nurse practitioners, internists, a pediatrician, an orthopedic surgeon, gynecologist, a staff assistant, and an insurance coordinator.
