Education and Wellness
Health education is an integral part of the Health Center at Brandeis. In addition to information supplied by physicians and nurses, a Health Educator is available for individual consultations with students and staff on health issues such as food and body image, smoking, stress management, and alcoholism. The Health Educator also offers health workshops for the Brandeis community, including residence hall discussions, and training of residence advisors and student leaders. The Health Educator functions as a liaison between various health related or community related committees and is an advisor to several student organizations. In addition, they offer health workshops for the Brandeis Community. The Health Educator’s office is located in the Health Center.
Students who have questions about health issues or health education programs may call extension 6-3677 to speak to a nurse or physician or may call extension 6-3693 to speak to the Health Educator. Students may also contact the
