How do I join

Joining is easy. During the beginning of each semester, BTV participates in the activities fair. You can sign up at the booth to be included on their email list. We will send you weekly information about meetings, shows, and other events.

I have an idea for a show

If you have an idea for a show, it will not take long before the idea could make it to the screens in dorms everywhere. All you have to do is make a solid plan, and propose it to the show manager and he/she will help you set it up. However, it is your responsibility to keep the show running. We will provide you with assistance when needed.

Where is the BTV studio?

The BTV studio is located on the 3rd floor of the Shapiro Student Center, right next to WBRS. Go up the stairs, and make a right turn and you will see the BTV office/studio on your left-hand side.

How can I get BTV equipment?

The BTV equipment is not generally for public use. We have a collection of high quality and expensive equipment that should be handled with professional care. If you damage any equipment, you will be held responsible for it. To use BTV equipment, you must be a member of the club, and must be using the equipment for the purpose of BTV. Sometimes there could be a waiting list for people to use the equipment, so the amount of time taken is important.

I want to be a star

If you want to become a star in a show, just ask the director of the show. Most directors will be more than happy that you want to be on their show. Go to the directors list and find the director of the show you are interested in and contact them.

I want to be tech

Tech is equally as important as any position at BTV. We have recently purchased an array of equipment that requires an amount of training to use. From computer training, video equipment training, to camera shooting, there are plenty of technical issues at hand.

I want to be a writer

To become a writer, you must contact the director. Unless you are writing for your own show, you should contact the director of the show you are interested in to see whether your writing style fits their needs.
